Frances and Booms Visit 2016

Professional Muay Thai Fighters, Rossland native Francis and husband Boom are here from their Wor Watthana Muay Thai gym located in Muang Yang District Nakhonratchasima Province in Thailand. Some of our Youth and adult members were lucky enough to attend their Seminar, working on Clenching and new take down techniques.

On a Visit to Booms village, Issan, the two witnessed the all the negative influences engulfing the lives of local kids, it was then Frances and Boom realized nothing was ever going to change unless someone made it happen.

Frances and Boom moved to Issan and in Booms dads garden they created a safe space for kids to learn Muay Thai and channel energy into something positive, with the help of a crowd funding campaign they raised enough money to build the Wor Watthana Muay Thai Gym.
