Special Guests Visit Pride Gym From Thailand

We had Special guests today at Pride Gym. Frances Watthanaya and her daughter Parvati are visiting from Thailand.

Parvati treated us with her Wai Khru. Wai Khru Ram Muay is a ritual performed by Fighters before fighting in Muay Thai competitions to show respect and gratitude to the boxer’s teachers. Wai is a traditional Thai greeting as a sign of respect. Khru is the Thai form of the Sanskrit word guru meaning teacher and Ram in Thai is the word for classical Dance and Muay means Boxing.
